Around 29,000 HDB households to benefit from estate upgrading programmes
Nearly 29,000 HDB households across Singapore are set to benefit from new neighbourhood upgrades under the latest Neighbourhood Renewal Programme. Improvements will include upgraded fitness trails, better wayfinding features and more senior-friendly amenities such as wellness gardens and dementia-friendly designs. Households in older precincts will also see enhancements under the Silver Upgrading Programme. Authorities say feedback from residents will help shape the upgrades, aimed at supporting an ageing population and improving the quality of daily living. Alexandra Anand reports.
