Zelenskyy warns of tough choices as Ternopil death toll rises to 31 | Ukraine Brief
At least six people were killed in the past 24 hours, while rescue teams continue working among the remains of a residential building in Ternopil, where 31 victims have been confirmed dead, including six children.
Today, Ukraine marks the Day of Dignity and Freedom, with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska honoring the heroes of the Revolution of Dignity.
Zelenskyy also delivered an address to the nation, saying that Ukraine “might face a very difficult choice: either lose dignity, or risk losing a key partner.” He added that “today is one of the most difficult moments in our history,” referring to the U.S.’ 28-point peace plan.
