उज्जैन जिले के महिदपुर कस्बा में शुक्रवार को भगवान गणेश की सवारी में लव जिहाद की झांकी शामिल करने का मुस्लिम पक्ष के लोगों ने पथराव करके विरोध किया। यह घटना मोती मस्जिद के सामने अंजाम दी गई। इससे सवारी में अफरातफरी की स्थिति बन गई। इसके सात ही पुलिस ने पथराव करने वालों को हल्का बल प्रयोग करके खदेड़ा।

On Friday, in Mahidpur town of Ujjain district, people from the Muslim side protested by pelting stones against the inclusion of a tableau on love jihad in the procession of Lord Ganesha. This incident took place in front of Moti Masjid. This created chaos in the procession. Soon after, the police dispersed the stone pelters by using mild force.
