ऑपरेशन सिंदूर में भारतीय सेना ने पाकिस्तान के कई आतंकी ठिकानों पर हमला किया था. यह हमला इसलिए भी अहम था कि भारत ने पहली बार आतंकियों को उसके घर में टार्गेट किया था. इससे पहले भारतीय सेना पाकिस्तान के कब्जे वाले जम्मू-कश्मीर में आतंकियों को निशाना बनाती थी. ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के तहत हुए हमलों में पाकिस्तानी आतंकियों को भारी नुकसान उठाना पड़ा. इस बात की पुष्टि आतंकी संगठन जैश-ए मोहम्मद के सीनियर कमांडर ने की है.
