शुक्रवार को आधी रात के बाद चमोली जिले के थराली कस्बे में बादल फटने से एसडीएम आवास और तहसील परिसर के साथ ही कई घरों में मलबा घुस गया। एक युवती के भी मलबे में दबे होने की सूचना है। तहसील मुख्यालय थराली बाजार केदारबगढ़ राडिबगढ़ चेपड़ों में भारी नुकसान बताया जा रहा है। पुलिस-प्रशासन की टीम बचाव एवं राहत कार्यों में जुटी है।

After midnight on Friday, cloudburst in Tharali town of Chamoli district led to debris entering SDM residence and tehsil premises as well as many houses. A young girl is also reported to be trapped under the debris. Heavy damage is being reported in tehsil headquarters Tharali market Kedarbagh Radibagh Chepdon. Police-administration teams are engaged in rescue and relief operations.
