दिवाली से पहले ही दिल्ली-एनसीआर की हवा ज़हरीली होती जा रही है।
राजधानी का AQI यानी air quality index 268 (दो सौ अड़सठ) तक पहुंच गया है.
जो ‘बहुत खराब’ श्रेणी में आता है।
यानी हवा में सांस लेना अब मुश्किल होता जा रहा है।”
“सेंट्रल पॉल्यूशन कंट्रोल बोर्ड की रिपोर्ट की मानें तो
दिल्ली की हवा लगातार बिगड़ रही है।
एक्सपर्ट्स का कहना है कि अगर दिवाली पर ज़्यादा पटाखे फूटे,
तो हालात और खराब हो सकते हैं।”
“इसी बीच सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने दिल्ली-एनसीआर में
ग्रीन पटाखों को सीमित शर्तों के साथ मंजूरी दी है।
कोर्ट ने कहा है कि सिर्फ वही पटाखे चलेंगे
जिन्हें नीरी (NEERI) और PESO की मंजूरी मिली हो।
पुराने पारंपरिक पटाखों और लड़ी पटाखों पर
पूरी तरह से रोक बनी रहेगी।”
तो वहीं इसके साथ ही “हर ग्रीन पटाखे पर अब QR कोड लगाना ज़रूरी होगा
ताकि असली और नकली में फर्क किया जा सके।
Even before Diwali, the air in Delhi-NCR is becoming toxic.
The capital’s AQI (air quality index) has reached 268 (two hundred sixty-eight), which falls in the ‘very poor’ category.
This means that breathing is becoming increasingly difficult.
“According to the Central Pollution Control Board’s report,
Delhi’s air is continuously deteriorating.
Experts say that if more firecrackers are burst on Diwali,
the situation could worsen further.”
“Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has approved green firecrackers in Delhi-NCR with limited conditions.
The court has stated that only those firecrackers approved by NEERI and PESO will be allowed.
A complete ban on old traditional firecrackers and string firecrackers will remain in place.”
Also, “It will now be mandatory to affix a QR code to every green firecracker to distinguish between real and fake ones.”
