The state government issued an order on Monday stating that on the occasion of Paryushan festival on August 28 and Anant Chaturdashi on September 6 (Saturday), non-vegetarian shops and slaughterhouses will remain completely closed in the entire state. For the first time, the government has also included egg sellers in this order. That means now on these two days, not only mutton-chicken or raw meat shops will remain closed, but the carts selling eggs and hotels-dhabas will also not be able to sell eggs.
