PM Narendra Modi RSS At 100 Years Speech: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a major step to recognize the contribution of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to the nation at the centenary celebrations. The Government of India released a specially designed commemorative postage stamp and coin depicting the volunteers of the RSS. The PM said that the 100 rupee coin issued by the Government of India has the national emblem on one side and the image of Bharat Mata in Varada Mudra with a lion on the other side and the volunteers are seen bowing in a gesture of devotion. PM Modi emphasized that the image of Bharat Mata on Indian currency is probably the first time in the history of independent India. On hearing this, the volunteers and RSS officials sitting in the auditorium applauded loudly.
