जम्मू-कश्मीर और पंजाब की नदियां इन दिनों उफान पर हैं। पानी की ताकत के सामने इंसानों की बनाई सरहदें भी टिक नहीं पाईं। पंजाब में उग्र रूप धारण करने वाली रावी नदी ने भारत और पाकिस्तान की सीमा पर करीब 30 किलोमीटर की तारबंदी ही खत्म कर दी। खंभे और तार भीषण बाढ़ में बह गए। वहीं दोनों ही तरफ दर्जनों चेकपोस्ट खाली पड़े हैं। बाढ़ को देखते हुए बीएसएफ ने भी अपने चेकपोस्ट खाली कर दिए थे और सारा साजो सामान भी निकाल लिया गया था।
