There is no nationwide ban on the call to prayer (Azan) in Pakistan, but the government has restricted the use of loudspeakers in some areas to control noise pollution, particularly in cities like Rawalpindi, where the use of loudspeakers for the call to prayer is permitted inside mosques but prohibited outside.
