इंदौर के पालदा क्षेत्र में खाद्य व औषधि विभाग ने छापा मारकर 3400लीटर मिलावटी घी जब्त किया है। कुछ समय पहले इसके सेंपल लेकर इंदौर की नई लैब में जांच कराई गई थी। इसमें वनस्पति घी की मात्रा ज्यादा पाई गई थी। इसके बाद फैक्टरी पर छापा मारकर घी जब्त किया। खाद्य व सुरक्षा अधिकारी मनीष स्वामी ने बताया कि फैक्टरी में डेयरी पावर व कावल्या ब्रांड का घी महाराष्ट्र से मंगाया जाता था और उसमे वनस्पति व एसेंस मिलाकर मिलावटी घी तैयार किया जाता था। उसे आरोपी मिल्क क्रीम व अन्य ब्रांड से बेचते थे।

In Indore’s Palda area, the Food and Drug Administration raided a factory and seized 3400 liters of adulterated ghee. Samples of the ghee had been taken earlier and tested at a new lab in Indore, where a high amount of vegetable oil was found. Following this, the factory was raided and the ghee was confiscated. Food and Safety Officer Manish Swami stated that the factory was importing ghee under the Dairy Power and Kavya brands from Maharashtra, and then mixing it with vegetable oil and artificial flavoring to produce adulterated ghee. The accused were then selling this adulterated product under the names of Milk Cream and other brands.
