जम्मू-कश्मीर में भारी बारिश और बादल फटने से हालात बेहद गंभीर हो गए हैं। अखनूर सेक्टर के परगवाल क्षेत्र में ड्यूटी पर तैनात सीमा सुरक्षा बल (BSF) के कांस्टेबल राजीब नूनिया बाढ़ की चपेट में आकर शहीद हो गए। गुरुवार को बचाव टीमों ने चार और शव बरामद किए, जिससे मृतकों की संख्या बढ़कर 43 हो गई है। बीएसएफ और नागरिक प्रशासन के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों, जम्मू-कश्मीर के मंत्री सतीश शर्मा तथा समाज के कई लोगों ने गुरुवार को शहीद जवान राजीब नूनिया को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। इस बीच, राज्य के विभिन्न जिलों में राहत और बचाव कार्य लगातार जारी है।
