श्रीनगर-जम्मू राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग भारी बारिश और नदियों-नालों में जलस्तर बढ़ने से बंद हो गया है। मौसम विभाग ने अगले 24 घंटों में और बारिश की चेतावनी दी है जिसके चलते घाटी में स्कूल और कॉलेज एक दिन के लिए बंद कर दिए गए हैं। झेलम नदी खतरे के निशान से नीचे है लेकिन अन्य जल निकायों में जल स्तर बढ़ गया है। भूस्खलन के कारण मुगल रोड भी बंद है।

The Srinagar-Jammu national highway has been closed due to heavy rains and rising water levels in rivers and streams. The weather department has warned of more rain in the next 24 hours due to which schools and colleges in the valley have been closed for a day. The Jhelum river is below the danger mark but the water level in other water bodies has risen. The Mughal Road is also closed due to landslides.
