जम्मू संभाग में भारी बारिश के कारण बाढ़ की स्थिति गंभीर हो गई है। नदियों का जलस्तर खतरे के निशान से ऊपर बह रहा है जिससे निचले इलाकों में जलभराव की आशंका बढ़ गई है। प्रशासन ने अलर्ट जारी कर लोगों को नदी-नालों से दूर रहने की चेतावनी दी है। कठुआ में उज्झ नदी का जलस्तर खतरे के निशान के करीब है। लगातार बारिश से सड़क मार्ग भी प्रभावित हुए।

Due to heavy rains, the flood situation has become serious in Jammu division. The water level of the rivers is flowing above the danger mark, which has increased the possibility of waterlogging in low-lying areas. The administration has issued an alert and warned people to stay away from rivers and streams. The water level of Ujj river in Kathua is close to the danger mark. Road routes were also affected due to continuous rain.
