मूसलधार वर्षा के चलते गंगोत्री व यमुनोत्री नेशनल हाईवे पर भूस्खलन व भू-धंसाव का सिलसिला थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है। सोमवार सुबह जिला मुख्यालय से करीब 20 किमी आगे नलूणा के पास गंगोत्री हाईवे पर भारी भूस्खलन हुआ। यहां अचानक चीड़ के पेड़ों सहित दरकी पहाड़ी से गंगोत्री हाईवे पर आवाजाही ठप हो गया था जो अब खुल गया है /

Due to torrential rains, the series of landslides and land subsidence on Gangotri and Yamunotri National Highway is not stopping. On Monday morning, a massive landslide occurred on Gangotri Highway near Naluna, about 20 km ahead of the district headquarters. Here, the movement on Gangotri Highway had come to a halt due to the sudden collapse of the hill along with pine trees, which has now opened.
