DPCC की हालिया रिपोर्ट में यमुना नदी से जुड़ा खुलासा हुआ है कि दिल्ली-एनसीआर की लगभग 1700 फैक्ट्रियां बिना उपचार के अपना अपशिष्ट सीधे यमुना में छोड़ रही हैं। इसके कारण नदी में प्रदूषण का स्तर बढ़ गया है, जहां 2025 की शुरुआत में जैविक ऑक्सीजन मांग (BOD) का स्तर स्वीकार्य मानक से 42 गुना तक अधिक पाया गया था। यह जहरीला पानी मानव और जलीय जीवन के लिए बेहद खतरनाक है।

DPCC report reveals shocking findings about the Yamuna River! A recent report by the DPCC (Delhi Pollution Control Committee) has revealed that approximately 1700 factories in the Delhi-NCR region are discharging their untreated waste directly into the Yamuna River. This has led to a significant increase in pollution levels in the river, where the biological oxygen demand (BOD) level was found to be up to 42 times higher than the acceptable standard in early 2025. This toxic water poses a serious threat to human and aquatic life.
