तालिबानी की वैचारिक कट्टरता में कमी नहीं आई है, लेकिन फिलहाल ये संगठन हिंसक गतिविधियों में शामिल नहीं हैं. उनका फोकस फिलहाल अफगानिस्तान को मजबूत करने पर है लेकिन कट्टरपंथ वाली सोच दुनिया के दूसरे हिस्सों में लोगों की जान ले रही है. ऐसे ही एक कट्टरपंथी आतंकी ने ब्रिटेन के मैनचेस्टर में दो लोगों की जान ले ली. कट्टरपंथी के निशाने पर वो यदूही थे जो प्रार्थना करने सिनगॉग ं पहुंचे थे. इस आतंकी ने पहले तेज रफ्तार कार से लोगों को कुचला. फिर चाकू से भीड़ पर हमला कर दिया. आतंकी हमले में दो लोगों की जान चली गई. मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने कट्टरपंथी को गोली मार दी. 35 साल के आरोपी की पहचान जिहाद अल-शामी के रूप में हुई है.ये सीरियाई मूल का ब्रिटिश नागरिक था.

The target was Jews who had gone to a synagogue to pray. The terrorist first mowed down people with a speeding car and then attacked the crowd with a knife, killing two people. Police arrived at the scene and shot the radical. The 35-year-old suspect was identified as Jihad al-Shami, a British citizen of Syrian origin.
