नोबेल पाने की आखिरी कोशिश के तौर पर कल डॉनल्ड ट्रंप ने पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री शहबाज शरीफ की बहुत पुरानी मन्नत पूरी कर दी…ट्रंप ने शहबाज शरीफ को व्हाइट हाउस में घुसने का मौका दे दिया..लगभग 6 साल बाद पाकिस्तान के किसी प्रधानमंत्री को व्हाइट हाउस में एंट्री मिल पाई है । इससे पहले 2019 में इमरान खान व्हाइट हाउस गए थे । इसके बाद अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपतियों ने पाकिस्तान के नेताओं से फोन पर बात करना भी बंद कर दिया था। हालांकि डॉनल्ड ट्रंप ने शहबाज को नोबेल के खातिर शहबाज को व्हाइट हाउस में बुला तो लिया…लेकिन उनकी ठीक ठाक बेइज्जती भी कर दी । लेकिन शहबाज शरीफ को इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता क्योंकि वो इसके आदी हैं…यही वजह है अमेरिका में शहबाज… ट्रंप की खुशामद में लगे रहे…जिस वक्त नोबेल कमेटी के लोग बहुत ज्यादा लॉबिंग की वजह से ट्रंप का पत्ता कटने का बयान दे रहे थे..उसी वक्त शहबाज शरीफ ने दुनिया के सबसे बड़े मंच से चापलूसी की सारी हदों को पार करते हुए डॉनल्ड ट्रंप के लिए नोबेल पुरस्कार मांग लिया।

In what appears to be a last-ditch effort to secure a Nobel Prize, Donald Trump yesterday fulfilled a long-standing wish of Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif… He granted Sharif an invitation to the White House. This marks the first time a Pakistani Prime Minister has visited the White House in nearly six years. The last Pakistani Prime Minister to visit was Imran Khan in 2019. After that visit, US presidents stopped even taking phone calls from Pakistani leaders. While Trump invited Sharif to the White House ostensibly for the sake of the Nobel Prize, he also humiliated him quite thoroughly. But Shehbaz Sharif didn’t seem to mind, as he is used to such treatment. This explains why, during his visit to the US, Sharif was busy flattering Trump. Just as the Nobel Committee was stating that Trump’s chances were dwindling due to excessive lobbying, Shehbaz Sharif, from the world’s biggest stage, went beyond all bounds of flattery, publicly requesting that Donald Trump be awarded the Nobel Prize.
