अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप को पीछे छोड़कर वेनेजुएला की मारिया कोरिना मचाडो को 2025 का नोबेल शांति पुरस्कार (2025 Nobel Peace Prize) दिया गया है. शुक्रवार (10 अक्टूबर) को नॉर्वेजियन नोबेल समिति ने इसका ऐलान किया. इसके पहले इस साल 4 नोबेल पुरस्कारों का ऐलान हो चुका था, लेकिन पूरी दुनिया की नजर इसी नोबल पुरस्कार पर थी. इसके पीछे सबसे बड़ी वजह ये थी क्योंकि अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने पिछले कुछ दिनों से नोबेल शांति पुरस्कार के लिए पूरी दुनिया में मोर्चा खोल रखा था. अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति ने कोई मंच या कोई ऐसा मौका नहीं छोड़ा जहां उन्होंने ये दिखाने की कोशिश नहीं कि कि वो इस साल नोबेल शांति पुरस्कार के सबसे बड़े दावेदार हैं.

The biggest reason behind this was that US President Donald Trump had been campaigning all over the world for the Nobel Peace Prize for the past few days. The US President did not leave any platform or any opportunity where he did not try to show that he is the biggest contender for the Nobel Peace Prize this year.
