अरे, इसमें कौन सा रॉकेट साइंस है..ये तो मेरे बाएं हाथ का काम है!’ लोगों के मुंह से आप अक्सर ऐसा सुना करते हैं। लोग बाएं हाथ से किए जाने वाले काम को मामूली समझते हैं, तभी ऐसा कहा करते हैं। पर क्या आप ये जानते हैं कि अभिनय के आकाश के जो ‘अमिताभ’ हैं वो लेफ्ट हैंडर हैं। क्रिकेट जगत के धवल कीर्ति ‘सचिन’ लेफ्ट हैंडर ही हैं, उन्हें बाद में बैटिंग की ट्रेनिंग के दौरान जबरन लेफ्ट हैंडर से राइट हैंडर बनाया गया। क्या आप ये भी जानते हैं कि एक नहीं, दो नहीं..अमेरिका के छह प्रेसिडेंट लेफ्ट हैंडर रहे हैं। क्या आप यह भी जानते हैं कि विज्ञान के शिखर पुरुष आइंस्टीन और न्यूटन भी लेफ्ट हैंडर थे, तो लेफ्ट हैंडर होना ‘मामूली’ नहीं ‘महान’ होने के लक्षण हैं। ये बात हम यूं ही नहीं कहते, रिसर्च से पता चलता है। यही वजह है कि हर साल एक दिन इन महा लेफ्ट हैंडर्स के लिए खास तौर से सेलिब्रेट किया जाता है.. आज यानी 13 अगस्त की तारीख को ‘वर्ल्ड लेफ्ट हैंडर्स डे’ के तौर पर मनाया जाता है
