‘आई लव मोहम्मद’ विरोध प्रदर्शन पर जिलाधिकारी अविनाश सिंह ने कहा, “कुछ दिन पहले एक संस्था द्वारा जुमे के दिन एक मार्च निकालकर किसी विरोध के समर्थन में ज्ञापन देने की बात कही गई थी। हमने उनको पहले ही बता दिया था कि अगर उनको कोई भी इस तरह की कार्रवाई करनी है तो पहले उन्हें लिखित अनुमति लेनी पड़ेगी क्योंकि पूरे जनपद में BNSS की धारा 163 लागू है और इसके तहत बिना लिखित अनुमति के कोई कार्रवाई नहीं कर सकते हैं। उसके बावजूद आज जुमे की नमाज संपन्न होने के बाद कुछ जगहों पर कुछ लोग सड़को पर आए और शांति व्यवस्था को भंग करने की कोशिश की। इसके जवाब में पुलिस ने मौके पर कड़ी कार्रवाई की। स्थिति पूरी तरह से नियंत्रण में है…मैं सभी लोगों से अनुरोध करता हूं कि किसी भी अफवाहों पर ध्यान ना दें…”

Regarding the “I Love Mohammad” protest, District Magistrate Avinash Singh said, “A few days ago, an organization had proposed holding a march on Friday and submitting a memorandum in support of a protest. We had already informed them that if they were to take any such action, they would need to obtain written permission first, as Section 163 of the BNSS is in effect throughout the district, prohibiting any action without written permission. Despite this, after Friday prayers concluded today, some people took to the streets in some places and tried to disrupt the peace. In response, the police took strict action on the spot. The situation is completely under control… I request everyone not to pay attention to any rumors…”
