महाराष्ट्र के स्कूल्स में वंदे मातरम गाना जरूरी करने पर सियासी घमासान और तेज हो गया। समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता अबू आजमी ने तो ऐलान कर दिया है कि यह आदेश उन्हें कतई मंजूर नहीं। उनकी देखादेखी कुछ मुसलमान भी अब मरने लड़ने की धमकी देने लगे हैं।
