DMRC का कहना है कि यह कदम यात्रियों के सफर को आरामदायक बनाने के लिए उठाया गया है. अक्सर देखा जाता था कि सोशल मीडिया क्रिएटर्स रील्स बनाने के लिए मेट्रो को एक पसंदीदा जगह मानते थे, जिससे आम यात्रियों को असुविधा होती थी. इस फैसले पर दिल्ली की जनता ने खुशी जताई है. लोगों का कहना है कि “मेट्रो तो एक ट्रांसपोर्ट का जरिया हैं तो उसको उसके लिए रहने देना चाहिए.” DMRC ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया है कि नियम तोड़ने वालों पर भारी जुर्माना लगाया जाएगा. यह घोषणाएं अब मेट्रो कोच के अंदर भी की जा रही हैं. दिल्ली के लोग इस कदम का स्वागत कर रहे हैं और उनका मानना है कि यह फैसला बहुत पहले ले लेना चाहिए था.
