लोकसभा में प्रधानमंत्री मुख्यमंत्री और मंत्री को 30 दिन तक जेल में रहने पर पद से हटाने के लिए 130वां संविधान संशोधन विधेयक पेश किया गया। अमित शाह ने विधेयक को भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता बताया और विपक्ष के विरोध की आलोचना की। कांग्रेस ने इसे संघीय ढांचे के खिलाफ बताया और विपक्षी नेताओं को निशाना बनाने की आशंका जताई।

The 130th Constitutional Amendment Bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha to remove the Prime Minister, Chief Minister and Minister from their posts if they remain in jail for 30 days. Amit Shah described the bill as the government’s commitment against corruption and criticized the opposition’s opposition. Congress called it against the federal structure and feared targeting of opposition leaders.
