पूरी दुनिया में तरह-तरह के खानपान के लिए चर्चित इंदौर शहर में मिलावट फूड सप्लाई किया जा रहा है. दीपावली के पहले यहां चोरी छिपे बड़ी मात्रा में पड़ोसी राज्यों से नकली और मिलावटी मावे की खेप पहुंची. जिसे खाद्य विभाग ने पकड़ लिया. फूड ऑफिसर अवशेष अग्रवाल के मुताबिक “बस में लगेज रखने वाली डिग्गी में 16 बोरियों में 200 किलो से अधिक मिलावटी मावा पाया गया. एक अन्य बस में भारी मात्रा में रेडीमेड मिठाई और घी बरामद किया गया है.

Adulterated food is being supplied to Indore, a city renowned worldwide for its diverse cuisine. Before Diwali, a large consignment of fake and adulterated mawa arrived here secretly from neighboring states. The Food Department seized it. According to Food Officer Avshesh Agarwal, “More than 200 kg of adulterated mawa was found in 16 sacks in the luggage compartment of the bus. A large quantity of readymade sweets and ghee was recovered from another bus.”
