पूर्णिया से निर्दलीय सांसद पप्पू यादव ने महागठबंधन के बीच सीटों के बटवारे पर कहा, “कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी अपनी पार्टी और अपने कार्यकर्ताओं के सम्मान के अनुसार जीते हैं। गठबंधन धर्म सर्वोपरि है, चाहें छोटी पार्टी हो या बड़ी। गठबंधन महत्वपूर्ण है, बिहार की जनता महत्वपूर्ण है और INDIA गठबंधन का जीतना महत्वपूर्ण है, सीट महत्वपूर्ण नहीं है। यह चुनाव विनाश बनाम विकास पर आधारित है… राहुल गांधी के प्रेम, विकास और संघर्ष की ताकत पर ये चुनाव लड़ा जाएगा…”उन्होंने आगे कहा, “…अब पार्टियां ‘टेक्निकल’ होती जा रही हैं। जमीन से सरकार कम चल रही है। हमें ऐसी चीजों से बचने की जरूरत है और कार्यकर्ता का सम्मान करने की जरूरत है।”
Independent MP from Purnia Pappu Yadav said on the seat sharing between the Grand Alliance, “Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has won according to the respect of his party and his workers.
