भारतीय क्रिकेंट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (BCCI) ने मंगलवार शाम को एशियाई क्रिकेट परिषद की बैठक में भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच खेले गए फाइनल मुकाबले को लेकर चर्चा की. बीसीसीआई ने एसीसी- पीसीबी के चैयरमैन को फोर्स किया है कि वो भारतीय टीम को एशिया कप जीतने की बधाई दें और ट्रॉफी लैटाने की भी बात कही. खिताबी जंग में खेले गए रोमांचक मुकाबले में पाकिस्तान को बुरी तरह से रौंदने के बाद भारत ने पाकिस्तान के गृह मंत्री से ट्रॉफी लेने से साफ इनकार कर दिया था, जिसके बाद नकवी ट्रॉफी लेकर मैदान के बार चले गए थे.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) discussed the final match between India and Pakistan during the Asian Cricket Council meeting on Tuesday evening. The BCCI urged the ACC and PCB Chairman to congratulate the Indian team on winning the Asia Cup and also requested that the trophy be presented to the Indian team. Following India’s resounding victory in the thrilling final, the Indian team refused to accept the trophy from the Pakistani Interior Minister, after which the minister left the field with the trophy.
