नेपाल सरकार ने फेसबुक, इंस्टाग्राम, व्हाट्सऐप समेत 26 बड़े सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म पर पाबंदी लगा दी है. सरकार का आरोप है कि ये कंपनियां नए नियमों का पालन नहीं कर रही थीं. यह बैन गुरुवार (4 सितंबर) आधी रात से लागू हो गया. हालांकि सरकार के जरिए लिए गए फैसले के बाद से ही इसका विरोध हो रहा है लेकिन अब जनता सड़क पर उतर आई है.

The Nepal government has banned 26 major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp. The government alleges that these companies were not following the new rules. This ban came into effect from midnight on Thursday (September 4). Although there has been opposition to this decision since the decision taken by the government, now the public has come out on the streets.
