मिग-21 भारतीय वायुसेना का पहला सुपरसोनिक फाइटर जेट था. इसने 1965, 1971 और 1999 की जंगों से लेकर 2019 की बालाकोट एयरस्ट्राइक तक में भारतीय वायु सेना का साथ निभाया था. हालांकि हादसों और तकनीक पुरानी होने के कारण अब इस जेट को रिटायर किया जा रहा है. इसकी जगह अब एक आधुनिक और स्वदेशी लड़ाकू विमान लेने वाले हैं.

The MiG-21 was the Indian Air Force’s first supersonic fighter jet. It served the Indian Air Force in wars from 1965, 1971, and 1999, right up to the Balakote airstrike in 2019. However, due to accidents and its outdated technology, this jet is now being retired. It will be replaced by a modern, indigenous fighter aircraft.
