एशिया कप के फाइनल से बाद भारतीय टीम ने ट्रॉफी लेने का इंकार किया तो मोहसिन नकवी ट्रॉफी लेकर चले गए… भारतीय टीम ने साफ मना कर दिया था कि वह पाकिस्तानी सरकार के मंत्री मोहसिन नकवी से ट्रॉफी नहीं लेंगे… ट्रॉफी विवाद को लेकर एक्शन में BCCI…ICC से नकवी की शिकायत करेगी..प्रेजेंटेशन के दौरान ट्रॉफी लेकर भागा था नकवी.. बीसीसीआई के सचिव देवजीत सैकिया ने इसकी पुष्टि भी कर दी। उन्होंने एएनआई से बात करते हुए कहा- हम ऐसे व्यक्ति से ट्रॉफी स्वीकार नहीं कर सकते जो ऐसे देश का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है जो हमारे देश के खिलाफ युद्ध लड़ रहा है। इसलिए हमने वह ट्रॉफी लेने से इनकार कर दिया है, लेकिन इसका मतलब यह नहीं है कि वह हमारे देश को मिलने वाली ट्रॉफी और मेडल अपने होटल के कमरे में ले जाएंगे।
