मध्य प्रदेश के मैहर और उमरिया में नवरात्रि से पहले मीट बैन किया गया है। नवरात्र के दौरान मीट को पूरी तरह बैन कर दिया गया है। अगर मैहर में किसी ने मीट बेचा को दो साल की जेल होगी।

In Mahe and Umaria districts of Madhya Pradesh, a ban on meat sales has been imposed before the start of Navaratri. Meat sales will be completely prohibited during the Navaratri festival. Anyone caught selling meat in Mahe will face up to two years in prison.
