रोहतास में समाजवादी पार्टी के सांसद अफ़ज़ाल अंसारी ने ओवैसी पर सधा निशाना, कहा “जहाँ 70%, 80% मुसलमान है वहीं चुनाव लड़ेंगे ओवैसी ? मेरे गाजीपुर में 10% मुसलमान है, मैं 5 बार विधायक रहा, तीसरी बार सांसद हूँ! मेरे बड़े भाई विधायक, मेरा छोटा भाई विधायक रहा, मेरे दो भतीजे विधायक हैं, जितने ओवैसी के पूरे देश में होंगे, उतने विधायक हमारे घर में हैं”

Samajwadi Party MP Afzal Ansari in Rohtas took aim at Owaisi, saying, “Will Owaisi contest elections where there are 70% or 80% Muslims? In my Ghazipur constituency, there are 10% Muslims. I have been an MLA five times and am a third time MP. My elder brother is an MLA, my younger brother was an MLA, and two of my nephews are MLAs. We have as many MLAs in our house as Owaisi has in the entire country.”
