भारत सरकार ने 79वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर 127 वीरता पुरस्कारों, 40 विशिष्ट सेवा पुरस्कारों और 290 मेंशन-इन-डिस्पैच का ऐलान किया है. ये पुरस्कार ‘ऑपरेशन सिंदूर’ और अन्य सैन्य अभियानों में शामिल जवानों की बहादुरी और समर्पण को दर्शाते हैं. इन पुरस्कारों में तीन अग्निवीरों को भी गैलेंट्री मेडल से सम्मानित किया गया है.
On the eve of the 79th Independence Day, the Government of India has announced 127 Gallantry Awards, 40 Distinguished Service Awards, and 290 Mention-in-Dispatch honors. These awards reflect the bravery and dedication of soldiers involved in ‘Operation Sindoor’ and other military operations. Among the awardees, three Agniveers have also been honored with Gallantry Medals.
