At an event held at Delhi’s IG Stadium to mark the 150th anniversary of “Vande Mataram,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi described “Vande Mataram” as an ode to Mother India. He said it is not just a song, but a symbol of India’s soul and patriotic spirit. PM Modi paid tribute to Bankim Chandra Chatterjee and offered a message of national service to the youth.
