Apple is upgrading Siri with Google’s Gemini AI, making it more powerful, smarter, and efficient. Under this billion-dollar deal, Apple will pay Google around $1 billion annually to integrate Gemini—a 1.2 trillion parameter AI model—into Siri. This partnership brings a major AI leap as Gemini’s Mixture-of-Experts architecture optimizes processing speed and cost by activating only relevant parameters per query.
With Gemini integration, Siri will handle complex tasks, summarize information, and perform multi-step planning within apps. All Gemini operations for Siri will run securely on Apple’s Private Cloud servers, ensuring that Google has no access to any user data.
Apple tested AI models from OpenAI and Anthropic before finalizing Gemini, finding it the best balance of performance and cost. The company is also developing its own trillion-parameter model expected by 2026. With this update, Siri could soon rival ChatGPT and Claude in intelligence and usability.
Apple अपनी Siri को Google की Gemini AI से power देने जा रहा है, जिससे ये voice assistant अब पहले से कई गुना स्मार्ट और तेज़ हो जाएगी. इस deal के तहत Apple हर साल Google को करीब 1 अरब डॉलर देगा. Gemini में 1.2 ट्रिलियन parameters हैं, जो Siri को natural और human-like responses देने में मदद करेंगे.
Gemini का Mixture-of-Experts system हर query में सिर्फ ज़रूरी parameters activate करता है, जिससे system तेज़ और cost-efficient बनता है. इस AI से Siri को अब complex task handling, summarizing और multi-step planning की क्षमता मिलेगी.
Apple का कहना है कि ये system उसके Private Cloud Servers पर चलेगा, ताकि किसी भी user का data Google के पास न जाए. Apple ने OpenAI और Anthropic जैसे options को भी test किया था, लेकिन अंत में Gemini को चुना. 2026 तक Apple खुद का trillion parameter वाला model लॉन्च करने की तैयारी में है.
