#ZeeBusiness　SBI IMPS New Rule: ₹25,000 से ऊपर अब लगेगा Charge, जानें पूरी डिटेल | Online Banking | Zee Business

पहले ₹5 लाख तक का IMPS Transfer 24×7 Free होता था, चाहे ₹25,000 भेजें या ₹5 लाख. लेकिन अब ₹25,000 से ऊपर के Transactions पर चार्ज देना पड़ेगा.

New IMPS Charges (Effective from 15 August 2025):

₹25,000 तक – Free

₹25,000 से ₹1 लाख – ₹2 + GST

₹1 लाख से ₹2 लाख – ₹6 + GST

₹2 लाख से ₹5 लाख – ₹10 + GST

ये charges सिर्फ Online IMPS (via Internet Banking या Mobile Banking App) पर लागू होंगे.

Who gets exemption from IMPS Charges?
SBI ने कुछ खास Account Holders को पूरी तरह Exempted किया है, जैसे: DSP (Defence Salary Package), CGSP (Central Govt Salary Package), CSP (Corporate Salary Package) और इसी तरह के salary packages. इसमें Police, Railway Employees, State Government Employees, Pensioners और Coast Guard शामिल हैं. ये account holders ₹5 लाख तक का IMPS बिना किसी charge के कर सकते हैं.

Impact on small transactions:
अगर आप रोज़ छोटे amount transfer करते हैं, तो चिंता की जरूरत नहीं है. लेकिन बड़े amounts भेजने के लिए और exemption list में नहीं आने पर, NEFT या RTGS का इस्तेमाल करें. छोटे payments के लिए UPI (Unified Payments Interface) अभी भी सबसे आसान और free option है.
