Paytm to invest ₹455 crore, announces big restructuring plan
Paytm’s parent company One97 Communications has announced key decisions in its August 25, 2025 board meeting. The company approved ₹455 crore investment in Paytm Money and Paytm Services via rights issue. It will also acquire Foster Payment Networks for ₹61 crore, making it a full subsidiary. Additionally, Paytm will restructure First Games under Paytm Services, valued at ₹140 crore. Following the Online Gaming Act, First Games will continue only with social gaming. Paytm assured investors these steps strengthen long-term growth and efficiency.
