New Delhi Railway Station has been upgraded ahead of the festive rush with a modern passenger facility centre. The new setup, inaugurated by CM Rekha Gupta, introduces three ticketing zones to reduce congestion and improve safety. Following a tragic stampede earlier this year, authorities have focused on crowd management and smoother travel. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari announced new holding areas and expanded ticket counters, while 3,000 additional trains have been added to connect Delhi with Bihar and eastern India this festive season.
