Goldman Sachs has placed a buy recommendation on IndiGo shares with a price target of ₹6,000 per share, showing a 6.3% upside from current levels. IndiGo’s strong fleet expansion, aggressive international route strategy, and rising demand are expected to boost long-term growth.
In Q1FY26 results, IndiGo reported a net profit of ₹2,176 crore (down 20% YoY), while revenue rose 5% to ₹20,496 crore. Passenger traffic grew 11.6% to 31 million, and capacity (ASK) increased by 16.4%. Fuel costs dropped 21.9% per ASK, giving the company relief. With 416 aircraft in its fleet, IndiGo remains India’s largest airline.
