Fuel prices revised from October 1: ATF and commercial LPG costlier
Starting October 1, 2025, fuel prices in India have gone up. Oil companies raised rates of commercial LPG cylinders and aviation fuel, leaving hotels, restaurants, and airlines facing higher costs. A 19-kilo commercial LPG cylinder is now ₹15.50 costlier, while aviation fuel jumped by ₹3052.5 per kilolitre. Domestic LPG cylinder prices, however, remain unchanged, giving households some relief. With festive season underway, the increase in LPG and ATF prices could make both food services and air travel more expensive.
