Delhi Metro fares revised after 8 years, DMRC cites rising costs!
Delhi Metro fares have increased again from August 25, 2025, after 8 years. DMRC has raised fares by ₹1 to ₹4 depending on distance, with the minimum now ₹11 and maximum ₹64. The Airport Express Line fares are also up by ₹1 to ₹5. Officials say the step was necessary to meet rising costs and maintain service quality. The last major revision was in 2017, when base fares went from ₹8 to ₹10 and maximum fares touched ₹50.
