भारत सरकार ने बड़ा फैसला लिया है – अब 19 अगस्त से 30 सितंबर तक cotton import पर custom duty और AIDC टैक्स नहीं लगेगा.
इससे भारत की टेक्सटाइल इंडस्ट्री और गारमेंट सेक्टर को बड़ी राहत मिलेगी.
Textile कंपनियां अब सस्ता cotton import कर पाएंगी, जिससे उनका production cost कम होगा। इसका सीधा असर हम सबकी जेब पर पड़ सकता है, क्योंकि जब कंपनियों का खर्च घटेगा, तो आने वाले समय में कपड़ों की कीमतें भी कम हो सकती हैं.
भारत दुनिया के सबसे बड़े कपड़ा उत्पादक देशों में से एक है। यहां की economy, लाखों किसानों और workers की रोज़ी-रोटी इस sector से जुड़ी है। ऐसे में सरकार का ये कदम न सिर्फ इंडस्ट्री को support करेगा बल्कि आम ग्राहकों को भी फायदा पहुंचा सकता है.
