यूजीसी बिल को लेकर भाजपा का छोटा से छोटा सवर्ण नेता भी आहत है। इसी कड़ी में यहाँ के सलोन विधान सभा से भाजपा किसान मोर्चा के मण्डल अध्यक्ष श्यामसुन्दर त्रिपाठी ने अपना इस्तीफा भेज दिया है। त्रिपाठी ने अपना इस्तीफ़ा संगठन पदाधिकारी को न देकर सीधे प्रधानमंत्री को भेजने की बात कही है। यूजीसी बिल को सवर्णों के खिलाफ बताते हुए उन्होंने ये इस्तीफ़ा भेजने की बात कही है।

In this connection, Shyam Sundar Tripathi, the Mandal President of the BJP Kisan Morcha from Salon constituency, has submitted his resignation. Tripathi stated that he would not submit his resignation to the party officials but would send it directly to the Prime Minister. He said he is resigning because he considers the UGC bill to be against upper-caste communities.
