वैसे आपको बतादे की FBI अधिकारियों के मुताबिक, हमले में शामिल संदिग्ध की पहचान रहमानुल्लाह लाकनवाल के तौर पर हुई है। वो अगस्त 2021 में अफगानिस्तान से अमेरिका आया था। उसने 2024 में शरणार्थी के दर्जे के लिए अप्लाई किया था और उसे इसी साल मंजूरी मिली थी।
