अफगान सुरक्षा सूत्रों और टोलो न्यूज़ की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, अफगान बलों ने दावा किया है कि उनकी हवाई सीमा में घुसे एक पाकिस्तानी लड़ाकू विमान को मार गिराया गया।
हालांकि पाकिस्तान ने इस दावे की आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं की है।

तालिबान सरकार के प्रवक्ता Zabihullah Mujahid ने पहले भी पाकिस्तानी एयरस्ट्राइक की पुष्टि की थी, जबकि पाकिस्तान के रक्षा मंत्री Khawaja Asif ने “खुली जंग” जैसे शब्द इस्तेमाल किए।

अफगान पक्ष का दावा है:

कई पाकिस्तानी चौकियों को निशाना बनाया गया

पाकिस्तानी सैनिक हताहत हुए

एक फाइटर जेट गिराया गया
लेकिन वहीं पाकिस्तान कह रहा है कि

100 से ज्यादा “आतंकियों” को मारा गया

एयरस्ट्राइक आतंकी ठिकानों पर थी
