यूके में एंटी इमिग्रेशन रैली (Anti-immigration rally)के बाद कम से कम 24 लोगों को गिरफ्तार(arrested) किया गया है। शनिवार को लंदन की सड़कों(streets of london) पर लाखों लोगों ने उतरकर प्रदर्शन(Display) किया था। कई जगहों पर प्रदर्शनाकिरयों और पुलिस के बीच झड़प हो गई जिसमें कम से कम 26 अधिकारी घायल हो गए। दक्षिणपंथी टॉमी रॉबिंसन के आह्वान पर 1 लाख से ज्यादा लोगों ने कैपिटल स्ट्रीट की ओर मार्च किया था। वैसे तो यह रैली अभिव्यक्ति की आजादी के नाम पर की गई थी लेकिन इसका असल मकसद इमिग्रेशन और मुस्लिमों के खिलाफ था। रैली में एक आवाज गूंज रही थी, ‘जिनको हमने गुलाम बनाया था, वे हमें गुलाम बना रहे हैं।’
At least 24 people have been arrested after an anti-immigration rally in the UK. On Saturday, lakhs of people took to the streets of London to demonstrate. At many places, there was a clash between the protesters and the police in which at least 26 officers were injured. More than 1 lakh people marched towards Capital Street on the call of right-wing Tommy Robinson. Although this rally was held in the name of freedom of expression, its real purpose was against immigration and Muslims. A voice was echoing in the rally, ‘Those whom we enslaved are enslaving us.’
