इमारतों के लिए पहचाना जाने वाला हांगकांग चर्चा में है. यहां के ताइ पो इलाके में बुधवार को लगी आग ने वांग फुक कोर्ट नाम के विशाल रिहायशी कॉम्प्लेक्स के अपार्टमेंट्स को राख में बदल दिया है. 35 मंजिली ऊंची 8 इमारतों में करीब 2 हजार अपार्टमेंट थे. मीडिया रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, आग बांस की मचान के कारण लगी, जिसके लिए हांगकांग मशहूर रहा है.

Eight 35-story buildings, each with approximately 2,000 apartments, were located in the eight buildings. According to media reports, the fire was caused by the bamboo scaffolding for which Hong Kong is famous.
