मध्यप्रदेश के रतलाम जिले (मुख्यतः चिकलाना गांव) में रावण का दहन दशहरे के 6 महीने पहले चैत्र नवरात्रि के दौरान किया जाता है, जहाँ पुतले की नाभि की जगह भाले से नाक काटकर अहंकार को अपमानित करने की अनोखी परंपरा है। यह आयोजन हिंदू-मुस्लिम सौहार्द का प्रतीक है, जहाँ दोनों मिलकर बुराई का अंत मनाते हैं।
In Ratlam district (primarily Chiklana village) of Madhya Pradesh, Ravana is burned during Chaitra Navratri, six months before Dussehra, where a unique tradition involves humiliating the effigy’s ego by cutting off its nose with a spear instead of its navel. This event symbolizes Hindu-Muslim harmony, where both celebrate the end of evil.
