Friends, those who engage in ragging and discrimination don’t do so based on someone’s caste. It’s their mindset. These people can be from any caste. And the students who are subjected to discrimination or ragging also come from all castes. Not just one particular caste. Therefore, it’s essential to strike at the root of the problem, which means changing the mindset of those who discriminate. Will simply creating guidelines end discrimination? Will it change people’s thinking? The creators of these discriminatory guidelines need to answer this question. Will adding new words and creating a fuss end discrimination? The guideline creators should provide a logical answer to this.
लिस्ट लंबी है. परेशान करनेवाली है. इसलिए हमने सिर्फ तीन उदाहरण ही लिए है. भेदभाव रोकने के नाम पर गाइडलाइन बनाने वालों को समझना चाहिए कि रैगिंग और भेदभाव जाति के आधार पर नहीं होती है। मित्रों, रैगिंग और भेदभाव करनेवाला..जाति देखकर रैगिंग नहीं करता है। उसकी मानसिकता होती है। ये लोग किसी भी जाति के हो सकते हैं। और जिन छात्रों से भेदभाव या रैगिंग की जाती है..उनमें भी सभी जाति के छात्र पीड़ित बनते हैं। किसी एक जाति से नहीं। इसलिए जरूरी है इसके मूल पर प्रहार करना. यानी भेदभाव करनेवालों की सोच को बदलना. क्या गाइडलाइंस बना देने भर से भेदभाव खत्म हो जाएगा. सोच बदल जाएगी. इस सवाल का जवाब छात्रों के बीच भेदभाव करनेवाली गाइडलाइन बनानेवालों को देना होगा. क्या नए शब्द जोड़ने और बवाल खड़ा करने से भेदभाव खत्म हो जाएगा. इसका तार्किक जवाब गाइडलाइन बनानेवालों को देना चाहिए
