बिहार चुनाव की सबसे हॉट सीट में से एक मोकामा विधानसभा क्षेत्र, जो काफी चर्चाओं में था. इसकी वजह है कि चुनाव प्रचार के दौरान जदयू प्रत्याशी अनंत सिंह पर दुलारचंद यादव की हत्या का आरोप लगा और वह अभी जेल में हैं. वहीं, इस सीट पर राजद और जदयू के बीच सीधी लड़ाई नजर आयी. राजद ने जदयू के अनंत सिंह के खिलाफ सूरजभान सिंह की पत्नी वीणा देवी को उतारा है. इसी सीट पर पहले चरण में मतदान हुआ था
